Rescuing Mammals

When it comes to rescuing young animals it is often a life or death situation. Removing an animal from it’s mother is a decision that should not be taken lightly as it will lesson their chance for survival.  There are situations where if a young or orphaned animal is not rescued then it’s chance of survival is pretty low.

If the mother has been killed, or if the mother has abandoned the young for some reason, or if the animal is injured are all good reasons to intervene.
